Blue Gas – 'Shadows From Nowhere'  Archeo Recordings ‎(AR006, 2016)
Blue Gas is one of the many short-lived projects of the mid-80s to be swept up in the momentous resurgence of Italo-Disco, which has seen audiences across the globe turned on to the airy and carefree funk of Italy’s homegrown catalogue.
Originally released in 1983, ‘Shadows From Nowhere’ bears all the hallmarks of a cratedigger's dream; sultry synth pads are complimented by a silk-clad bass-line and watertight vocal harmonies, which ebb and flow across a minimal drum pattern, building a seductive tension that is broken only by the occasional explosion of triumphant synth.
One of just a hundred white vinyl repressings, this limited-edition dancefloor-filler is a much sought-after cut for club DJs and living room dancers alike.

Graded using the Goldmine Standard. Graded conservatively, cover and media in M bracket. Unplayed record.
